Little Christophe is an old pond of almost 2 ha gravel pit. The lake is located in the champagne region of France (north). Near Brienne le Chateau.
Sometimes (when the weather is clear and sunny) the lake turns around into a meridian blue colour. The depth is between 5 ft – 32 ft. In the water there are not much snags. The water is crystal clear with some lelies into it. There is no weed at all.
Little Christophe has many different kind of fish. Besides big carp (many 20 kg+ !) and a record commune carp of 31 kg. You can also fish on tench, pike roach and bream. There are nog catfish or sturgeon in the lake.
The lake is suitable for max 2 fishermen, or 6 rods. The lake is not as easy as it looks….there is some pressure of the lake. Which means that sometimes you are lucky to catch one or two fish…but it is also possible to catch 40 fish!
